Rita Ann Owens

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Ann Owens, 73. Rita passed away on September 27, 2024 at her home in Sun City West, Arizona. She was peacefully surrounded by her family.

Rita was born on February 13, 1951 and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her love for California brought her out West where she lived in San Diego, Seattle and eventually Sun City West.

Rita was a dedicated mom, cat lover and she was truly adored by everyone who came into contact with her.
Rita's beauty, humor and compassion brought light to so many.

Rita's passing comes with sadness and is deeply felt by her family, and countless others who loved her dearly. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Roger; her daughters Katie and Rachel; and her kitties. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Mary & Leroy Rohrman; her brothers Nick and Marty Rohrman.

Rita has asked to not hold a memorial service, so please join us in remembering and celebrating our beloved memories of her.
